All Subjects Summary
Work resources are now located entirely on individual google classrooms, please ensure you have enrolled onto them and you are completing all work assigned.
If any of you are having difficulty completing work via google classroom please take a moment to watch this video:
Below you will find a brief summary of all the work that has been set for this week.
There is work for each of the lessons that students would have had at school, however, we would ask both guardians and students to consider wellbeing and although we would want the work to be completed to support their education when we return to school, please take time for other activities such as cooking, mindfulness etc and ensure exercise forms part of your everyday routine (Joe Wicks is leading a 9am workout every morning on the body coach you tube site.)
Although we feel that this school work is extremely important for all the students we also appreciate that their mental health is so important during these unknown times. We have recently sent an email to all students put together by the Mental Health Ambassadors, reminding students that there is information, advice and guidance on the Chase Care pages and useful numbers for organisations offering vital support such as Kooth.
If still experiencing technical difficulty please contact itsupport@chase.worcs.sch.uk

N/A | Photo Strip
This has been a task for a few weeks. You should be starting task 2 now. You are going to create a photo strip of your favourite cuddly toy or character from a cartoon. Task 1 from new worksheet. Decide who you are going to use in your photo strip. In my example on the right, I used my favourite cuddly monkey called CordRoy. Task 2 – draw out the photo strip. Each rectangle should measure 4x5cm and there should be 4 photographs. Make the frame lines quite thick. Decide on what poses your toy or character is going to have in each frame. You must also decide what media you are going to complete your work in. I used pencil (lightly) to sketch out CordRoy and water colour for the shading. I decided to keep it black and white but you can use colour if you want. Task 3 – start on your nal photo strip. Take your time… Your character or toy will obviously need to look the same in each frame which is tricky… |

If you are making good progress, then why not try to complete your Bronze Award this week and start your Silver Award? We will be posting / publishing an Awards Roll of Honour at the end of the first week in June. There are house points and praise postcards being issued for top performing students.
